2 a.m. in the morning, it's usually a low-key, downtime for most of us, but not
for those time changers; it is SPRING FORWARD this Sunday, March 8, 2015.
the years, shifting our time to conserve daylight (taking it from the morning
and adding it on to the evening) has caused quite an upheaval in many parts of
the country. According to webexhibits.com,
in the 50's and 60's each city could start and end Daylight Saving Time (DST)
anytime it deemed appropriate. Resulting
in "exactly five weeks each year when Boston, New York, and Philadelphia
were not on the same time as Washington D.C., Cleveland, or Baltimore--but
though it seems like less sleep, let's be thankful it is regulated to the same
time-shifting for everyone!
